Navigation via smartphone or mobile phone app is becoming increasingly popular. However, it doesn't look very professional if your expensive, multifunctional cell phone is stuck to the car dashboard with Gaffa tape or some sort of home-made construction. For this purpose, the SP Connect range includes the *VENT MOUNT*.
This mount can be connected to the car air vent in a matter of seconds. The mobile phone can be quickly and securely attached by simply putting it on and turning or just by clicking into place, as long as the mobile phone or its cover is fitted with a counterpart which is compatible with the *VENT MOUNT*. The device can be mounted for portrait or landscape view or at any other preferred angle. An added bonus: the mount is small enough that it's easy to take with you on your travels and use as a navigation support in hire cars.

The centrepiece of the system is the Phone Case with integrated securing mechanism. As the counterpart, SP Connect supplies a range of CNC-machined, vibration-absorbing mounts for fitting to your handlebar, mirror strut or RAM ball-head systems. Mounts are also available for cars and bicycles. The system couldn't be simpler to use: You rotate your smartphone 90° to secure it on the mount, and simply rotate in the opposite direction to release it again.
By the way, SP was established in Germany in 1988 as a manufacturer of snowboard bindings, so the firm has plenty of experience when it comes to clever connection systems. Today it has its headquarters in Vienna, the technical know-how still comes from Germany, and the mounts are manufactured in China.
