US mounting kit for BMW models KIT FOR BMW MODELS
The Kriega *US-Drypack* mounting kit for your BMW consists of high quality hypalon and nylon webbing loops that fit under the seat using the existing mounting points on the seat. Once fitted, they provide strong hook points for any Kriega US Drypack or US Drypack Combo (sold separately - found under "matching items"). This mounting kit also fits the latest BMW F750 GS and F850 GS models with the OEM cast aluminium luggage carrier, as shown here. Motorbikes with tubular luggage carrier and includes all BMW GS ADVENTURE models are excluded.

Installation:
2 x 50 mm bolt-on loops
2 x 65 mm screw-on loops
8 x M6 washers
4 x 30 mm M6 screws
4 x M6 Nyloc screws
The Kriega *US-Drypack* mounting kit consists of high quality hypalon and nylon webbing loops that fit easily under the standard OEM luggage rack using the existing mounting points. Once fitted, they provide strong hook points for all Kriega US-Drypack / US-Drypack Combo or OS-Adventure Packs (sold separately - found under "matching items").
Installation:
- loosen the 4 luggage rack bolts and replace them with the 4 longer M6 bolts supplied. Please tighten with 5 Nm
- insert an M6 washer into each Hypalon end of the bolt-on loops.
- the two 50 mm screw-on loops are mounted at the rear on the underside of the rear rack.
- fix the loops with another washer and a Nyloc nut on the additional thread of the M6 bolts.
- Repeat the procedure at the front of the carrier with the 65 mm loops and tighten the nuts.

Dom Longman and Michael Cottam are the fathers of the Kriega brand. The motorcycle-mad product designers were already working in the outdoor industry when they joined forces in 2000 to design the optimal luggage for their own tours. The two had very clear priorities: Function always comes first. Appearance and pricing are secondary. Such a philosophy naturally has consequences: Luggage systems from Kriega are certainly not cheap - but they are definitely good value. The quality of materials and workmanship then also puts the purchase costs into perspective. In addition, there are many possible combinations of the individual parts, which fit together neatly. By the way: US at Kriega stands for Universal System and OS for Overlander System. The latter is specially designed for particularly tough off-road use. Kriega's sophisticated concept didn't just convince us. The company, based a few miles south of Liverpool, now sells its bags, backpacks and fastening systems in over 40 countries.
