Superbike Flat Aluminium handlebar AN1 Aluminium, 7/8 inch, black satin
The sporty, flat superbike handlebar for better handling and a dynamic look on sports and naked bikes. Made of chrome-plated or black-coated steel pipe (wall thickness 2 mm) or highly break-resistant, anodised aluminium (wall thickness 4 mm).
Incl. ABE for many current motorcycles
Note: The accessory handlebars are supplied without a hole for the switch unit lock. These are positioned differently depending on the motorcycle model. It is permissible to drill the handlebar for the lock: To do this, align your new handlebar optimally with the vehicle. Now mount the switch units, check that they are free to move towards the tank when the steering is fully turned, mark the hole for the lock and drill the handlebar to the appropriate diameter. If you want to avoid the drill slipping off the smooth handlebar tube when converting the handlebar, if you tend to ‘go wrong’ when centre-punching or somehow always drill crookedly into the workpiece, you should use the Rothewald drilling template, order no. 10029799 (see bottom of picture) - better safe than sorry, with this template such mistakes cannot happen.

Accessories with an ABE do not have to be registered in the vehicle documents. However, if you do not want to carry the certificate with you at all times, you can have it registered (at a charge) by the TÜV, for example.

Water and salt encourage corrosion. After cleaning (e.g. with Procycle Special Gel Cleaner, Order no. 10004909), we recommend regularly polishing aluminium parts with standard aluminium polish (e.g. Alu-Magic, Order no. 10004031).
