Tour-X4 Frost Black Motocross Helmet
Arai itself says of the *Tour-X4* full-face helmet that it's "Ready for anything". We agree - with the sole exception of the race track. Grand touring or challenging off-road riding, with visor or goggles, with peak or without, you can do whatever you like with the *Tour-X4*. It's still one of the most versatile Arai helmets. Even on a naked bike, this helmet simply looks right.

- Material: SFL (Super Fibre Laminate)

- Fastener: Double 'D'

- Protection: Emergency quick-release cheek pads make the helmet easier to remove in an accident situation.
- Lining: Comfort lining, breathable, fully removable and washable, 5 mm thick "peel-away" foam lining on ear cups/cheek pads/temple pads for more flexible adjustment to suit your head shape
- Ventilation: Chin and forehead vents, plus air flow extraction at the rear, neck and side. Other features: The new cheek pads in FCS (Facial Contour System) design provide a snug fit and rest perfectly against the face along the lower jaw line.

Arai embodies the typically Japanese pursuit of perfection like almost no other company. Founder, Hirotake Arai, was actually a hat maker, but he also happened to be a motorcycle rider, and in the 1950s he developed his first helmets. His son and successor, Michio Arai, took over in 1976, and made Arai synonymous with putting safety at the heart of everything. His obsession with detail and pursuit of quality still shape each individual helmet to this very day. That includes everything from the super-smooth shape to the extra-strong shells, exclusive use of double 'D' fasteners and adjustable cheek and temple padding. So, of course, a helmet from Arai never comes cheap. But worth every penny.
