Accessories with ABE do not have to be entered in the vehicle documents. However, if you do not want to carry the certificate with you at all times, you can, for example, have an inspection center make an entry (for a fee) upon request.
If the accessory is to be used on a vehicle that is not listed in the ABE, individual approval is required.
