FEHLING Z Handlebars

Classic chopper look from the 70s, reinterpreted: With their comfortable width of just over 80 cm and flat design, FEHLING 1-inch "Z-bars" add a cool accent to any US-style bike, especially those with slightly larger triple clamps. Handling is relaxed and easy, yet the handlebars offer a powerful "riding feel." Ideal for new school choppers, bobbers, and "flat irons" with a dragster look.

Suitable for both Japanese bikes and Harley Davidsons with 1-inch handlebar clamps. Can be mounted with internal or external cables. For Harleys built from 1982 onwards (from "Evo" fittings) with cable dimple.

Please note:
Due to its production in a very small production series, the handlebar is not delivered with a model-specific certificate, but with a "technical report" (material certificate, valid only in Germany) for individual approval. Not every testing center will carry out such an individual approval. Therefore, before placing your order, it is best to check with a testing center you trust or a good auto Workshop to see if approval is possible!
Laying the cables inside is a somewhat time-consuming task and requires experience, patience, and skill!

  • Design: tall and narrow
  • Available in Black
  • Dimensions in mm (L x H x D): 850 x 145 x 120

Note: The "Hd handlebar dent" is an indentation on the underside of the handlebar ends, which is necessary for Harley-Davidson models built after 1982 with 1" handlebars to prevent the handlebar cables from getting pinched between the handlebars and the fittings. This "dent" does not restrict the usability of the handlebars on vehicles from other manufacturers or on Harleys built before 1982 and is not visible to the rider.

Note: The accessory handlebars are supplied without a hole for securing the switch unit. These are positioned differently depending on the motorcycle model. Drilling holes in the handlebars for the locking mechanism is permitted: To do this, align your new handlebars optimally on the vehicle. Now mount the switch units on a trial basis, make sure there is sufficient clearance to the tank when the handlebars are turned fully, mark the hole for the locking mechanism and drill the handlebars to the appropriate DIAMETER. If you want to avoid the drill slipping off the smooth handlebar tube when converting the handlebars, if you tend to "miss" when centering, or if you somehow always drill crookedly into the workpiece, you should use the LSL drilling template, order no. 10005224 (see bottom of image) – better safe than sorry, with this template such mistakes cannot happen.
