The pistons have to operate in searing hot conditions in the cylinders. They spit exhaust gases at unbelievably high temperatures through the cylinder ports and into the exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters and rear silencers. And you? You want to paint these parts black? Well, we've got just the thing for you, as it happens; black Dupli-Color *Supertherm* 800°C exhaust paint does the job in no time at all.
This paint is heat-resistant up to 800°C, making it ideal for all areas exposed to high thermal loads (e.g. engine block, cylinder and exhaust).
Important: Spray on two thin coats from a distance of approx. 25 cm. Allow to dry. The thinner the coat of paint, the greater its heat resistance and adhesion.

Please note:
Dupli-Color *Supertherm* exhaust paint is not suitable for titanium exhaust systems or for exhaust manifolds (because they can reach temperatures greatly in excess of 800°C).

Dupli-Color paints are tried and tested in thousands of garages and workshops for repairs, both large and small, and for visual tuning. It's good to know that Dupli-Color is a pioneer when it comes to environmental protection: Long before the worldwide ban, Motip Dupli stopped using CFC as a propellant gas. Their paints have been free of all toxic heavy metals since 1981. In a nutshell: With Dupli-Color you're always on the safe side.
