Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid that consists of polyalkylene glycol ether with a high boiling point and contains special additives that protect the brake system against rust and blistering.
Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 has a higher wet boiling point than conventional brake fluids based on glycol ether. It is suitable for all brake systems and is compatible with other DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids. In order to utilise the full effect of Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4, we advise not to mix the product with other brake fluids. It is not suitable for systems that require a mineral hydraulic fluid. Brake fluid can damage the paintwork. In the event of contact, rinse immediately with clean water.

- The low viscosity at low temperatures enables the brakes to react quickly.
- Best compatibility with all materials in brake systems.
- Miscible with brake fluids DOT 3 and DOT 4.
- Not miscible with silicone brake fluids (DOT5) and mineral hydraulic fluids.
- Change the brake fluid according to the manufacturer's instructions or after 2 years at the latest
