Abus presents the next generation of security for the French market: the GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 brake disc lock in its SRA-certified version. It sets new standards in terms of quality, protection and convenience in combination with intelligent technology. Hardened special steel, The extremely solid locking bolt (19 mm Ø), housing and load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are made of hardened special steel that is difficult to destroy.
The SRA version of the GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 reliably detects movements of the lock using 3D position detection technology. It first triggers the intelligent pre-alarm, which stops after seven beeps. Only then and if there is further movement does the 100 dB full alarm sound for 15 seconds. In addition, the automatic brake disc detection system detects exactly whether the lock that secures the bike is positioned on the disc or not. This means that the GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 can be closed for convenient transportation without triggering the alarm function. LEDs in different colours provide information about the activity and battery status at a glance. The built-in Abus XPlus cylinder has been specially optimised to prevent tampering, e.g. lock picking attacks.
